Serie A Women has just kicked off, but after Matchday 4 the league table presents an intriguing scenario: there’s only a three-point gap between 2nd and 10th place. Napoli, Juventus, Fiorentina, Milan, Lazio, Como Women, Inter, Parma, and Sassuolo are all in the mix for European qualification

SERIE A WOMEN, WHAT TO SEE IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
The standings are still taking shape, and compared to previous seasons, more time will be needed to see clear trends. By December, we should have a much better picture. Looking more closely at the current table, based on performances so far, Napoli, Como Women, Parma, and Sassuolo might drop out of this group sooner, as other clubs appear more organized and better prepared at this stage.
SERIE A WOMEN, THE COMMENTARY OF MATCHDAY 4
Napoli have been a surprise package: the Neapolitans have lost only once in four rounds (and that was against the league leaders), making them a potential wild card. Como Women bounced back after their defeat away to Sassuolo, but their management of the final 30 minutes left some doubts. Inter haven’t won since Matchday 1 and have only scored twice in their last three matches —both goals against Fiorentina— while defensive issues persist. Parma earned a 1-1 draw against Napoli, which can be considered a solid result. Sassuolo, meanwhile, could be doing more given the quality they’ve shown over the past two months.
